Coming up on this week's show: * Music from Funkadelic, Basia, Kelli Sae, Sinclair, Soulpersona, Kaldera and many more * We're now into August 2007, which means a new album of the month. I almost completely changed my mind, and was going to go for the new album from Kool and the Gang. However, after listening to a few tracks I quickly changed my mind! So, as promised, we're going with Deniece Williams this month, and her 1976 album "This Is Niecy" * The House of Grooveline track this week is another sunshine-inducing example of beautiful soulful house. Brand new from Jihad Muhammad, with UPZ giving it the rework treatment, you'll hear "Open Your Eyes" * I'd like to say I've met the man we're featuring on the Threeplay this week. I've seen him in real-life...he sat metres away from me in a jazz venue. But he was stuffing his face with pizza, so I decided not to disturb him. Either way, his music is stunning and this week's we'll feature three tracks back to back from the man himself - Ed Motta * Plus more great music sprinkled with a bit of chat (Hour 1 of this week's show will be live on Friday)

Coming up on this week's show: * Music from DeBarge, Luther Vandross, The Jacksons, Diana Ross, Lovestation, the Kyoto Jazz Massive and many more! * As there was no show last week, we're wrapping up July 2007's Album of the Month with four tracks from the debut work from Canada's Moses Mayes, "Second Ring". These four tracks alone illustrate how diverse the band is * Another summer stomper in this week's House of Grooveline as Byron Stingly teams up with Terry Hunter and the voice of Carla Proctor for "I Waited For You". If you're a clubgoer, you'll be hearing this around soon! * Some sophisticated soul in this week's Grooveline Threeplay as we play three tracks back to back from Adriana Evans * Plus lots more music, music news and shouts (This week's show is pre-recorded)
No show this week

Coming up on this week's show:
* Music from Chuck Jackson, Joe Bataan, Eighties Ladies, Cheryl Lynn, Philip Bailey, Kleeer and many more
* A new month, and a new album of the month. After featuring a couple of tracks last month, we look at Canadian soul/funk/hip-hop band Moses Mayes and their debut album Second Ring, with two tracks coming up this week.
* The only hint of sunshine I've experienced in the last month is the House of Grooveline feature on this show. This week is no different, with another sublime piece of soulful house from Andrea Carissimi and Fabio Bachini, entitled "Love Spin"
* A rare selection of tracks on the Grooveline Threeplay this week, as we play three tracks back to back from Barbara Pennington, including the classy classic "On A Crowded Street"
* Plus, I'll be joined by special guest John Thomson, respected soul and funk DJ who frequented bars and clubs in the west coast of Scotland and south east of Spain in the 80s and early 90s
(This week's show is pre-recorded)
