ANNOUNCEMENT: Grooveline to launch on legendary soul station Joy Radio!
This Friday 1 April Grooveline will launch a 15th show on a 12th station, joining the growing roster of programmes on London-based Joy Radio.
Joy Radio, a former 80s soul pirate station in the London area, has soft-launched a new online-only service, with more DJs and shows joining the schedule each week.
Each week the show will debut on Joy Radio at 2000 BST at www.tinyurl.com/joyradio before being repeated 14 more times on other stations across the weekend.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Grooveline Shortwave launches this weekend!
After several tests throughout the month of March, the first Grooveline Shortwave programme will air this weekend.
The one hour show is exclusive to the shortwave bands, and will air twice on 6070 kHz via the Channel 292 transmitter near Rohrbach, Germany.
Grooveline Shortwave airs at 2000 GMT on Friday, and again at 1400 GMT on Saturday, and should be audible in across Europe and beyond.
The show will not be available on-demand and no tracklist will be posted. QSL cards are available free of charge for reception reports to steve@groovelineonline.com

ANNOUNCEMENT: Grooveline trials on shortwave
For the month of March, Grooveline will be heard each weekend via the shortwave radio bands. Shortwave (as opposed to FM, MW, LW or DAB) is primarily used as an international radio band, as signals can and do travel around the world.
The transmissions take place from the Rohrbach site in Germany on 6070 kHz and require a world band radio receiver or similar device.
Last weekend our first broadcast was heard in Greece, Austria, UK, Russia and even as far away as the east coast of the USA.
This weekend, Grooveline can be heard at 1400 to 1600 GMT on Saturday 12th March on 6070 kHz. If you send a reception report to steve@groovelineonline.com you can also receive a QSL card to verify your reception.
Longer term, Grooveline may relaunch "Grooveline Monthly" exclusively for shortwave. Watch this space!
