Grooveline streaming problems
Since 17 March 2007, Blast 1386 has been experiencing major problems with the internet audio stream, making it impossible to listen to the station online. This affected the repeat broadcast of Show 128, and both airings of Show 129.
The problem appears to be with the streaming provider, Live 365. Efforts are ongoing to resolve the problem as soon as possible. An outage of this duration is totally unacceptable.
However, it is not known when this problem will be resolved. In the meantime, Blast 1386 continues to broadcast on 1386 AM in the Reading area, west of London. Reception after darkness is possible further outside of the Reading area.
As most of the listeners to Grooveline listen online, I'm extremely disappointed with this latest setback, however I do understand that it is out of the radio station's hands.
Nonetheless, I apologise wholeheartedly for any disappointment. I'll keep you posted.
