ANNOUNCEMENT: Vintage Grooveline this weekend!
As much as a surprise to me as it will be to you, the hastily arranged filler programme for Hour 2 of this week's Grooveline is actually from October 2004! (See previous postings for explanation about lack of new 2nd hour this week). The 2nd hour of this weeks show (30 Dec and 2 Jan) is taken from the 2nd hour of a Soul Identity show that I covered on Saturday 30th October 2004. Thanks to Bob and Hazel for arranging this blast from the past!
ANNOUNCEMENT: New Year Grooveline problems
There was a problem with the forthcoming edition of Grooveline, Show 67, due for broadcast on 30 December 2005 and 2 January 2006. Due to a double-booking of the studio, it was not possible to record the second hour of this week's show. As a result, only the first hour will be broadcast*. A standby generic hour of Grooveline will be broadcast in place of Hour 2*. The Grooveline Timeline will therefore return in the following week (6 January and 9 January 2006). Apologies for any disappointment. * This depends on the Blast 1386 playout computer not failing during Christmas and New Year!!

ANNOUNCEMENT: Grooveline returns home!
This Sunday, Grooveline returns to it's home. For the first time in exactly 4 years, I'll be presenting Grooveline from the studios of HBSA, in Irvine, North Ayrshire in the south-west of Scotland. This is where Grooveline started broadcasting in April 1998. HBSA Programme Controller Stephen Graham will be stepping aside from the helm of his weekly show to allow me to play Ayrshire the finest in soul, funk, acid-jazz, R'n'B and soulful house.
