PREVIEW: Show 121, Blast 1386, 19 January 07 1400-1600, repeated 22 January 07 0000-0200

Coming up on this week's show:

* Music from the Polyphonics, Shalamar, Rufus & Chaka Khan, Incognito (via the Kyoto Jazz Massive), A Tribe Called Quest, Stevie Wonder and many more!

* For the third week, we look at the incredible album from Quintessence, titled "5am". This week, a slightly funkier track called "Broken" and a replay of the fantastic "Friday", as featured last month in the Threeplay

* I had real trouble picking the track of this week's House of Grooveline. I almost went with the Polyphonics (which I decided to open the show with instead). In the end, I went with the new soulful instrumental track from Deep Factor, called "Warriors Theme". I think I made the right choice

* As if the Quintessence album, and your handsome presenter (?! - ed) didn't bring enough beauty to the show this week, we're featuring the sound of Julie Dexter on the Threeplay this week. Three tracks back to back from this Brummie Beauty.

* Plus lots more, including details on forthcoming Incognito gigs and releases!

(This week's show is pre-recorded)
