Rather than finally feature that amazing album from Angela Johnson, something else hit the inbox of Grooveline Towers in the meantime. A brand new album from a guy called Tom Glide, with The Luv All Stars. The album, "In The Name Of Luv", is a tribute to 80s jazz funk and the sound of Earth Wind & Fire, with some original members of that band lending a hand too. Horns galore! Two tracks from this album this week.
* The House of Grooveline featured track this week comes from a blissful new remix album from Peven Everett, titled "Beyond The Universe - The Remix Edition". Timmy Regisford and Adam Rios have remixed the whole album, which comes out later in the month, and we've picked "Burning Hot" as the featured track
* Staying on a soulful house tip, the Grooveline Threeplay this week features three tracks back to back from soulful house vocalist Billie Godfrey, who also happens to be one of the lead singers of Heaven 17!
