PREVIEW: Show 214, Blast 1386, 16 April 10 1500-1700 and 18 April 10 2100-2300
Coming up on this week's show:
* Music from Nova Frontiera, Stevie Wonder, Cool Million feat Eugene Wilde, Ace Of Clubs, George Benson, Gwen McCrae, New Edition, Andrea Carissimi and Fabio Bacchini feat Brent St Clair, DJ Spinna feat Abdul Shyllon, Jorge Ben, Roy Ayers, Earth Wind & Fire, Jamiroquai, Mark Morrison and Incognito
* We take our third look at the Album of the Month for April 2010, the stunning new live release from Incognito's 30th annversary performance in London last year. This week, the live version of "When The Sun Comes Down" by Tony Momrelle
* The House of Grooveline featured track this week is unusual in that it is not particularly soulful, or funky. In fact it's quite unfront, almost hard. But it uses a fantastic sample from a certain EWF track to fabulous effect. The track in question this week is James Talk and Ridney's "Forever"
* The house theme continues again this week with a Grooveline Threeplay, as we feature three tracks back to back from soulful house vocalist Rachel Claudio, featuring her team-ups with Nicholas Vautier (twice) and Leo Cuenca
* And the Grooveline Garage this week features a brand new, quite impressive UK garage track, 2-step in style, from Dom HZ - "I Know"
* All that plus much more!
When: Friday 3pm to 5pm UK time
Repeat: Sunday 9pm to 11pm UK time
Where: Streaming online at www.blast1386.com, and on 1386 MW in Reading, Berkshire
