PREVIEW: Show 176, Blast 1386, 1 March 08 1800-2000, repeated 3 March 08 0000-0200

Coming up on this week's show:

* Music from Casiopea, Drizabone, Raphael Saadiq, Boz Scaggs, Lee Ritenour, Omar and many more

* The musically strong year of 2008 continues with another brand new album from one of soul music's finest artists, Frank McComb, who released "Live in Atlanta Vol 1" a few months ago. You'll hear two tracks this week including the 10 minute extravaganza that is "Love Natural"

* The Brazilian Bit this week takes an unexpected turn. Rather than a fine example of Brazilian soul or funk, this week we feed you a slice of Brazilian drum 'n' bass from Vanessa Da Mata, with "Nao Me Deixe"

* This week in the Grooveline Garage, a great new track from one of the better known outfits in the scene, Qualifide, with "Talk To You". Given the choice between the 2-step and 4x4 mix, both of which are excellent, I've opted for the latter

* Each week in the House of Grooveline I aim to bring you an exclusive white label soulful house promo. This week, that's almost the case. The track actually comes out on the day the show is broadcast, so it's not quite exclusive. However, it is simply too good not to play. Absolutely top quality soulful house this week from Elizabeth Troy, with "Higher Ground". Unmissable.

* The Grooveline Threeplay this week serves up three tracks back-to-back from Solar Records' own The Whispers, all tracks taken from their early 80s work

* Plus a whole lot more music and music news
