* Track of the week: Originally planned for last week, this week's TOTW is actually two tracks. Named La La Time, Parts 1 and 2, these were the first tracks released by the Maurice White-formed band The Salty Peppers, which went on to become the groundbreaking band Earth Wind and Fire.
* Grooveline A to Z: "E" - It would be very foolish to do an A to Z of soul and R'n'B without making Earth Wind and Fire the band of choice of the letter E. Incredibly difficult to choose three tracks from dozens of magnificent albums, but I had to do it. (Almost as difficult as writing a biography of the band that I can read in two minutes!)
